Loading indicator

While TheFlex is loading a page, an animated orange bar runs along all four edges of the screen. This gives users immediate visual feedback that something is happening – useful especially on slow connections where the page might stay blank for a moment.

As soon as the page has finished loading, the animation stops automatically.

Settings

The indicator is active by default. It can be turned off under Settings → User interface → Progress indicator.

Note

Turning off the loading indicator makes sense in environments where the network is always fast and reliable, and the brief animation is felt as distracting. In most cases it is better to leave it on.
